Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics (GA) via opt-in. That is, GA is NOT enabled by default. GA will only be activated if you expressly agree. GA is used for aggregated, anonymized traffic analysis of the website. In order to track your session usage, Google will place two cookies (_ga and ga_<tag>) with generated IDs in your browser after your confirmation. These IDs are anonymized and do not contain any identifiable information such as email, phone number, name, etc. GA is used to track aggregate website behavior, such as which pages are viewed, how long they are viewed, etc. This information is important to improve the user experience and determine the effectiveness of the website. You can use the ↗ Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On to have the transmitted data automatically deleted.
External Links
The Website also contains links to third-party websites. If you follow an external link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that no responsibility or liability can be assumed for these policies. Please check the respective privacy policies of these websites before submitting any personal information to these websites. On our website, external links are always marked with the “up arrow” symbol: ↗
Links to social networks are also external links. The following social networks are currently linked at the bottom (“footer”) of our website:
(↗ Mastdodon),
(↗ Bluesky),
(↗ GitHub),
(↗ [matrix] Messenger)
Only after your click on an external link data about the link destination will be transferred. This is technically necessary due to the underlying protocol of the Internet (TCP/IP = TCP – Transfer Control Protocol + IP – Internet Protocol). The data transmitted are, for example:
- Address of the website you came from (our website)
- Address of the retrieved files (call address = URL)
- Operating system and browser version of your device (user-agent)
Some links may mean a data transfer to non-European countries. As a result, it may also be possible for foreign third parties to receive connection data. This is beyond our control.
